For Alex Morgan
Payment due Oct 9, 2026
Notes: Thank you for choosing Riverside Studio.
The invoice keeps the client details, recorded payments, remaining balance, and due date together.
Put it to work
Invoice work already agreed, or keep a quote's shared number when it becomes an invoice.
Update an issued invoice when the order changes, keep recorded payments, and review superseded versions. Duplicate draft creates a separate document.
Show available From and To details, optional notes, balance, and due date.
Keep received payments and outstanding balances beside the invoice.
Your process, connected
Once the work is agreed, make payment expectations visible: who is being billed, what they are buying, what is due, and when. Create directly or use the accepted quote as your starting point.
Convert accepted quoted work or create an invoice directly when you have already agreed the price.
Edit line items, invoice details, and the number before sending. Include available business and contact information, and optional client-facing notes.
Choose the invoice due date and add a deposit or instalment schedule if the agreement needs one.
Email the invoice when sending is configured, or share the client view. Received payments update the outstanding amount; keep the invoice's payment history together.
Edit details and the number before sending. Use Revise invoice when an issued order changes, including after payments: previous versions remain in Revision history and payments stay attached. The invoice keeps its number, currency and issue date. Duplicate draft creates a separate document, not a revision. Saving a revision does not send an email or charge the client; resend when ready. Paid invoices are retained through archiving rather than voiding or deleting a payment record.
The client view focuses on services, totals, the outstanding balance, and due dates—not your internal status controls. A fully paid invoice shows that it is paid. Optional notes appear only when you have supplied text.
A practical example
An illustrative numbering example using matching quote and invoice prefixes.
You can also create an invoice directly when the price was already agreed. Conversion back to a quote is subject to the document's eligibility and payment history.
